About 8:15 Sunday morning, Ryan was rocking with Grandma and she put him to sleep.  We put him on the couch and let him get a 45 minute power nap.  He did not want to be woken up.

Notice how unhappy Ryan was?  Had to give up after this one as he wasn't taking any more.

After we got back from Uncle Bob's, Ryan & Grandma took a snooze as did some of Ryan's cousins.

After the naps we headed back to the beach.

Our fish is back in the water.  This time we were in the lake.

We had to show this as it was so big it was crazy.  This trailer is housing the turbine of a generator that is going to be barged from Coulee up to Canada to the Revelstoke Dam.  They are putting in a 5th generator.  It weighs 208 tons.  It was shipped up from Brazil to Portland, then put on a barge to Pasco and then placed on this trailer and drove 35 mph from Pasco to Coulee.  It took up basically the whole road.  We only got tied up in it when it was turning into this location.  Could you imagine being stuck behind it for a long period of time?  Mom is standing in front of the turbine to give an idea of how massive it is.

On Monday morning a barge arrived with 3 tug boats to take the turbine to Canada. 

There was one crew that was building a bridge from the boat ramp to the barge.

The other crew got the turbine place on the blue trailer that then was pushed onto the barge.

Unfortunately we had to leave to get our stuff to head to the airport so we missed be best part of watching the turbine get on the barge.  By the time we drove by on our way out of town the turbine was on the barge but had not left.  The crew said they did something similar 2 years ago and are already planning on doing it again in 2 years.

After we got home, K & Shirley came by with their grandson Brandon.  He has been following Ryan's story and wanted to meet him in person.  Ryan was so tired he wasn't much fun.  We'll have to have Brandon back over when he's in town next time.
